Sadie McInnes

Sadie McInnes (she/her) is the Operations Director at The Sonor Foundation. She manages the organization’s daily activities, ensuring efficiency and alignment with organizational strategy, oversees operational processes, project execution, and implements improvements to systems.  

Sadie is an experienced operations and project management professional with a strong background in philanthropic foundations, nonprofit organizations, and professional services. She has expertise in financial management, communications, event logistics, and team leadership, with a focus on serving underserved communities 

With over four years as Chief of Staff and Communications Manager at the McCall MacBain Foundation, Sadie played a pivotal role in launching the McCall MacBain Scholarships, growing the team, and formalizing operational processes. Sadie has also served as Director of Operations at Ruby Shiller Enenajor, Barristers, a criminal defence firm, where she managed complex client cases, budgeting, and marketing. Prior to this, Sadie was the Development and Events Coordinator for Fife House Foundation, a non-profit organization providing affordable housing and support services for people living with HIV/AIDS in the Greater Toronto Area. Previously, she worked as the Fundraising and Events Coordinator for Head and Hands, a non-profit organization providing medical, social, and legal services to youth in Montreal, for the Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives in Winnipeg, and for the Association of McGill University Support Employees.  

Sadie holds a BA First Class Honours in Gender, Sexuality, Feminist, and Social Justice Studies from McGill University, where she studied as a Loran Scholar. Committed to lifelong learning, she has also completed executive training in financial and project management at Ivey Business School and the University of Toronto School of Continuing Studies. Sadie brings a deep personal and professional commitment to social justice.
